So my best friends got married in August last year, and I am sad to say that their photographer was NOT the best... so a lot of their photos suffered in the process. I was in the wedding so I was unable to shoot the wedding, and to top it all off, they have pretty much been battling with this particular photographer ever since.
I took their photos and am currently working on an album for them, but I wanted you to see a slideshow of my post production of images. Mostly color correction, skin and tonal corrections, and cropping to make the photo more appealing were my main goals.
Some of the changes are subtle but post processing makes a huge difference! What you are about to see is the BEFORE and AFTER images.

On another note, I love you Jess and Theo!!!

Hey ya'll!

Well, since my business is beginning to slowly (but surely! :) ) grow, it is time to spruce up the site, give it a facelift, and come back with lots of new and exciting changes!

Over the course of this week, I will be changing the site colors, style, logo (I know ya'll love it but it will still be on my business cards for awhile, it was my original design, but I need something a bit more sophisticated now) and lots of other things.

So just bear with me during this process. Hopefully I will be back up and running strong on Monday the 24th of March!

Yesterday I did an urban chic session with my good friend Amanda, who is also a bridesmaid in my wedding. She is absolutely stunning! The theme for the day was "red", as you will be able to tell from the slideshow.

(also!) I was quite proud of myself, this was my first FULL shoot in manual mode. It was a kind of rough time of day, and the sun was shining pretty brightly! but I made it, and I was please with the results. I still have some post processing to do, but all in all, I was happy with them!

{new(er) blog}

I just deleted the "old" blog and started over with a clean slate! This is my first official post on the "new blog", which isn't really new at all, same name, just a new face! I thought it was high time to take my blogging to a whole new level! Stay tuned for great things... :]
